Chennai Bangalore Multi Axle "Sleeper" Bus.

Paulo travels
I travelled from Chennai to Bangalore on 17th April 2013, this time i wanted to go in a Multi axle SLEEPER. I usually like to Travel in multi axle buses but i never tried Sleeper version of Multi axle.

The only available Service was with Paulo Travels. Initially i had doubts if its really sleeper or semi Sleeper under Multi Axle Category, hence i called and enquired for which they said that they are the first in India to introduce multi Axle Sleeper.

I booked the lower berth but the lower berth was too low, and we will not be able to see whats happening outside. Hence i changed to upper berth.

The scheduled departure was @ 3.30, i was initially happy as the the Bus Started exactly at 3.30. My expectation was that i will be dropped at Bangalore in 5 to 6 hrs.  The bus gave too many halts, (piss, Tea, Dinner ) at various locations and reached Madiwala @ 10.30 (8 Hrs). The next halt was at Race Course but the Bus was still waiting at Madiwala as this bus will now move to Goa and is waiting for people who are boarding to Goa.

Conclusion :  Multi Axle Buses should not go beyond 5 to 6 hrs from Chennai To Bangalore including halt. This bus went almost 8hrs.  Am sure all my co passengers would have cursed the bus. Even there was no possibility of seeing the TV. Guess only two people among us should have been happy. They were a young couple who closed the screen and did not open it till they reached madiwala. ;-)
